I'm Thankful for Answered Prayers!

I just had to announce that God is good.  I know you already know that, but sometimes I just feel the urge to be more excited about it than others.

You see, I've been pestering my husband to get me a front loading washing machine and dryer.  (I've been told that they really do cut back on the water bill.)  He's so logical.  He told me "no".  And his reason..."because we don't have enough money"!!  Can you believe that?  I insisted that it would save us money in the long run and he said, the same thing again...apparently he really thinks I shouldn't spend money we don't have.  (Actually, I totally agreed with him, but I still feel it my job to give him grief.)

Nonetheless, I informed him that I was pretty sure that it was God's will that we save money on the water bill, and that it must surly be God's will for us to have a front loading washing machine & dryer. I also informed him that I was praying and that he had better get a truck from somewhere, so that he could move my washing machine and dryer when I finally got it.  He rolled his eyes at me.  He's so cute! 

Today, about 2 weeks after I warned him that he was about to need a truck, his friend called him.  Guess what his friend just happens to have and not need??  Yep!  You guessed it!  A front loading washing machine/dryer set!!  Jeremy was amazed.  (I was too, but don't tell him!)  All we have to do is go get it.  Now, I'm going to have to pray for a truck, since my husband hasn't found one yet.   =D

I'm so thankful that God cares enough to provide this and so much more over the years that we've been married.  We certainly don't deserve it, but God just keeps answering prayers!!
