Ranch Dressing/Potato Chip Dip

In a pint jar mix:

5 Tablespoons dried minced onions
7 teaspoons parsley flakes
4 teaspoons of sea salt
1 teaspoon of garlic powder

Mix together and store in air tight container.  I put mine in a pint jar with a lid.  I fill it up to the top, so I don't have to make it very often.

Ranch Dressing:
Mix 2 Tablespoons of your dry mix with 1 cup of mayonnaise and 1 cup of buttermilk.  Let sit a few hours before serving.

Potato Chip Dip:
Mix 2 Tablespoons of your dry mix with 2 cups of sour cream.

This is much easier if you make a huge batch of dry mix.  I make a whole pint of it at a time.  It costs way less than the store bought stuff and there's no MSG!!  Plus you can add more seasoning if you like a stronger taste...or less if you like.

  3. I love making things like this to keep on hand!! I made my own mayo last week using eggs, salt, olive oil, a bit of vinegar,(and something else...can't remember now) and everyone just loved it. I think I can combine the two :) thanks!!
