Bubbles, Bubbles Everywhere....

Spring is a great time for bubbles!  Bubbles are fun any time of year.  We get them out in the winter too and have "bubble wars" when it's too cold to blow bubbles out doors.  Just be careful, spilled bubbles make a slippery floor.  We don't need any broken bones or stitches...well, not any more than necessary.  ;)

Bubbles
1 cup water
2 tablespoons light karo syrup or 2 tablespoons glycerin
4 tablespoons dishwashing liquid
Mix together and blow away...

Need bubble wands??
Pick up a few at the Dollar Tree.  (I love that store!) Or you could use things you have around your house.  Things like:
  • a slotted spoon
  • funnels
  • fly swatters
  • 6-pack rings
  • a silicone steaming basket
  • mason jar lid rings
  • cookie cutters
  • a cocktail strainer
  • see if your kids can use their imaginations to come up with other ideas....

Or go here to make "Glow in the Dark" bubbles.  How cool is that?   Whoo Hoo...I'm about to be the best mom my kids ever had!!  I'm wracking up the brownie points over here....
