I think it's a good thing to memorize a Bible verse each week. My kids are ages 3 years - 8 years old. Believe it or not the 3 year old usually memorizes just as much as her oldest sister. Not always, but usually.
I love to hear them recite God's Word, but better still, I love to watch the little light come on in their heads when they start to understand what the words in that verse mean!
This week we are going to take a verse that memorized last year and review it. I find that, sometimes, the younger ones tend to forget them if we don't.
Micah 6:8 ~ He hath shown thee, O man, what is good; and what doeth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
