For the time being we are renting a small house. A very small house. So small that we can't put up a Christmas tree this year. We considered putting the tree up in the kid's room and the kids outside in the back yard, but none of the kids liked the idea....
After reading, Amber's {at Luv, Laughter and Happily Ever After} post, I decided the very least I could do was decorate my dining room table since it's already there it wouldn't take up any additional space. She also had a great idea for decorating the HUGE window in my dining room/kitchen! {I don't have curtains to fit it and I'd rather not spend money or time on it when we most likely won't be living here very long.}
So, the kids and I dug through our Christmas things and pulled out....
just a few things....
And that window I was telling you about...
Not as fancy as Amber's, but the kids had fun!
And together we have...
Not super fancy, but we did get to decorate a bit
without taking up any more room and none of the kids have to
sleep outside this way!
It's a win-win!
=)

Aww! It looks cute! I originally seen the idea for hanging the candy canes but decided to use bulbs instead. You could also put some green garland around the curtain rod. I love it! Thanks for linking up!
