Eat Out Without Breaking the Bank

Here are a few things we do to save money when eating out:

Skip the sodas and drink water with lemon
Order the kids adult meals to share rather than pricy kid's meals.
Skip appetizers and desserts.
Share desserts
Order appetizers instead of dinner plates ~ you can have a little taste of it all, spend less money and still get filled up.
Take advantage of free appetizers such as chips and salsa or rolls.
Don't order extras if they charge you for them.

Buffets

Usually cheaper than sit-down restaurants
You don't have to tip as much because they don't sere you.
Kids under 3 or 4 can usually eat for free.

  1. Those are some good ideas. My dad and I will sometimes share food when we eat out. Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)
