Raw Honey is very good for you and oh-so-yummy! If you've never had it, you must try it! My kids eat honey all the time. We use it instead of jelly on peanut butter sandwiches. And we use it to replace syrup on waffles and pancakes if I don't happen to have any pure maple syrup.
Just a few of the health benefits of raw honey are:
- It's a natural sweetener. The Bible speaks of honey and it's healthy properties in several places.
- Can cure gastric and intestinal ulcers
- Gets the digestive juices flowing and helps with digestion
- Great for burns, cuts and infections, topically and internally

- Good for respiratory problems (due to it's anti-allergy, anti-inflammatory, and expectorant qualities)
- Good for hair and scalps if you mix a bit with your shampoo in the palm of your hand.
- Good for cleaning skin and even treating acne prone skin due to it's anti-bacterial qualities
You can't beat good old, local grown honey to sweeten your tea or just to use for medicinal reasons! We go through honey at our house!!
